  FAQ
1. What is the SRJ Organisation?

We are part of an international group of specialist direct marketing companies. We are contracted to represent a variety of businesses that either do not have their own sales/marketing team or find that it is much more economical to outsource the work. We provide these companies with a dedicated, product trained and professional team to market their products and/or services.

2. What type of companies does the SRJ Organisation represent?

We market products from various sectors like telecommunications, utilities, charities financial services and insurance sectors, and of course we are constantly researching new business sectors to continue our expansion.

3. What do these companies ask the SRJ Organisation to do?

In simple terms, acquire new customers for them.

4. How does the SRJ Organisation represent these companies?

Using field marketing we deliver face-to-face presentations to each potential customer. This is a trade marked process known as "The Human Commercial".

5. What would my responsibilities be?

Your main responsibility would be to provide clear and concise information regarding the clients' product/service in a positive and professional manner.

6. What skills would I need?

You should have a positive approach towards your work, strong communication skills and the ability to work within an enthusiastic environment. The ability to set and achieve goals and have the maturity and self-motivation to work without constant supervision is also desired.

7. What impact would I have when representing a client?

The primary impact is an instant increase in brand awareness for the client due to the number of 'Human Commercials' that are being delivered. The secondary impact is the revenue generated from the newly acquired customers. Although these revenues vary from campaign to campaign, studies have shown that in an average year each representative will generate in excess of £350,000 for the clients through new customer spending.

8. Are there targets that I would have to achieve?

There are standards to aim for and criteria to be reached in order to progress to the more senior levels in our organisation. You will decide your own targets to decide the pace at which you want to climb the ladder.

9. Is there any training provided?

Yes. Each and every campaign is unique, having been individually tailored to meet the clients' needs, and therefore specific product training is provided for each one. We also have an internal programme known as the 'Cycle of Development' which is split into three main areas; sales skills, team management and business development. This is an ongoing programme in which each individual can progress at their own pace whilst receiving constant support and coaching from the team.

10. What growth opportunities does the organisation offer?

There are 5 levels in our organisation, starting from the Field Representative to ‘Owner ship’ of your own company. Ultimately it is you who decide how far you progress and at what pace. There is no shortage of opportunities as our client companies are constantly looking to increase their customer base and as a direct result of this we, as an organisation, constantly need to open new marketing companies to meet this demand. This demand will increase in the future as we represent new clients and expand into new countries. 4 people like you have already progressed to Ownership and are running their own companies successfully.
